There are two common causes of what doctors may dub “adrenal fatigue.” The first may be that when you have too much cortisol, your HPA axis — which regulates the release of this stress hormone — tells your adrenal glands to make less of it. This results in a cortisol shortage that may leave you feeling tired no matter how much rest you get.

Frequently Asked Questions
Take three capsules daily, with meals. Some people divide it between breakfast and dinner, and some take one at each meal.
Fortunately, this product does not contain corn. The microcrystalline cellulose and vegetable stearate are derived from the wood pulp of North American trees and non-GMO palm, respectively.
Adrenal Love is also formulated without other common allergens, including egg, gluten, dairy, soy protein, and artificial sweeteners.
Side effects are rare, but this product does work to help calm down your nervous system. So, occasionally, we will have an individual who was (unhealthfully) getting almost ALL their energy from the nervous energy of the nervous system, and they felt more tired at first.
If that happens, just ease into it slowly over a week or so, and remember that it is helping your body heal and find a balance with your adrenals. Again, this is very rare. If you feel more tired after taking Adrenal Love you can try:
- * Getting outside and taking a walk at least once per day Making sure you’re getting adequate sleep
- * Taking Magnesium & B-Complex vitamins for better all-day energy
It sounds like your body may have been getting the majority of its energy from nervous energy in your nervous system.
Adrenal Love helps your body run more healthful energy pathways. However, I have found that some individuals will experience some difficulty as their body tries to adjust to a more healthful energy pathway. In a sense, your body is having to “detox” from the effects of running on stress for so long!
In these cases, I recommend that you start with a lower dosage (1-2 capsules per day) after food and build up gradually over a week or two. This will give your body more time to adjust to using healthier forms of energy and give your adrenal glands time to heal.
The label mentions a caution for those with diabetes (type 1 or 2) due to the American ginseng included in the formula. In certain people, American ginseng has the potential to cause glycemic imbalances. However, this is by no means the case for everyone.
This warning is placed there as a caution, so you will know to inform your doctor, who can help you discover whether you are in the minority who may experience this.
