I do recommend taking a quality multivitamin in addition to Hormone Balance.
Hormone Balance provides lots of vitamins B-6, B-12, calcium, folate, magnesium, and more, but does not give the full range of vitamins and minerals that a multi can provide.
DOES HORMONE BALANCE CONTAIN CAFFEINE?
Although Hormone Balance contains green tea extract, there is no caffeine in this supplement.
I AM STILL EXPERIENCING HOT FLASHES, HEADACHES, AND TROUBLE SLEEPING — COULD IT BE CONNECTED TO HORMONE BALANCE?
HOT FLASHES
Hormone Balance can take 60-90 days to begin to shift your hormones and decrease hot flashes. If you’ve finished a bottle, I recommend staying on the same dosage for at least another month. I would also consider taking 400mg of Magnesium each day to reduce hot flashes.
HEADACHES
While I do not know individual cases and cannot give medical advice as such, this may be a detox reaction. Hormone Balance contains several nutrients that help support detox. If your detox systems were previously overburdened, this could potentially release more toxins or metabolites (which is a good thing!). If this is the case, you would want to reduce the dose that you’re taking and work up gradually, while also doing extra work to support your detox pathways.
Adding Magnesium Restore or Liver Support can help speed up this detoxification process so your reset can happen faster.
RESTLESSNESS
Sometimes adaptogenic herbs can increase adrenal function which can increase energy. It’s likely that is what is going on in this case.
I would recommend shifting when you take Hormone Balance so you take all 4 capsules earlier in the day and see how your body adjusts.
